Sometimes life is about making choices based upon what you need to do in order to survive. These choices are ones that are difficult because often it means giving up what you love to do in order to do the "right" thing.
When faced with these choices you can fight going along with what is the "right" thing to do but it really isn't going to make that choice easier. You need to just "suck it up" and do what you must.
I have learned that the things we do in order to keep a roof over our heads and pay out bills are often temporary. Although there are the rare people who stay at their 9 to 5 job for 25 years or more, it is not so unusual for people to find themselves changing jobs or even professions in their lifetime.
In the end,you know what matters most to you. What keeps you going. What motivates you to "suck it up" and do what you must do.
When you can focus on the motivation behind the choices that you have to make and follow through with it may make the "task" easier.
"Cutting off your nose to spite your face" only makes doing what you need to do harder. When there is no way around it, remember what motivates you and it will make the task or choice easy.
