Mondays mean back to work. A new work week full of challenges. For some, it is a new week of problems, headaches and stress. Most people need to work for a paycheck but why should you have to suffer just to live? It is all about attitude and if you cannot change jobs, then you need to change your attitude.
Abusive bosses should absolutely never be tolerated. If you have the misfortune of working for one and there is no one else in charge that you can talk to about it, RUN don't walk to your local employment agency or wherever you can and find yourself another job. Take it from me, I was in an abusive job for too long. It got to the stage where I had to take anxiety medication just to get through the workday. Come to think of it, most of my co-workers were taking them also for the same reason. There is definitely a shortage of good jobs available today but spending 40 hours a week at a job that makes you ill is not healthy.
Learning how to cope with difficult people at work can help you to reduce your stress levels. No matter what line of work you are in, you are going to come across someone who is difficult to work with. Stressful situations can make you ill. Learning how to leave your job stress at your job will help you to enjoy your off time.
